Terms & Conditions
- For deliveries to the tip there will be a mimimum charge of £40
- Parking must be prearranged and is the responsibility of the client.
If any parking fines are incurred at any time during the job,
they must be paid in full to the driver upon completion of the job
- Any job running over the estimated completion time will be charged at half hour increments
- Any credit card payments must be made upon completion of the job
- Our arrival times are estimated. Although we do our best to be on time,
circumstances out of our control may cause delays
- We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property after a job is completed and
payments have been received
- Parking
- It is the client's responsibility to provide parking at pickup and dropoff points. ie any
necessary permissions or permits from local authorities etc. If this has not been prearranged by the client
then the client will be responsible for any parking fines incurred on completion of the job
- Payment
- Full payment must be made in cash, or cheque made payable to M Boorman, upon completion of job
- Booking Times
- We will do our utmost to meet the time scale specified. However, it should be noted that these
times are estimates only as sometimes delays are unavoidable due to unforeseen circumstances such
as traffic delays, weather etc
- Unforeseen Circumstances
- If the job is delayed at the client's end for any reasons such as: waiting for keys,
moving access obstructions, incorrect address information, removal of windows etc. A charge of £25 per
hour of the delay will be added to the final bill
- Changes To The Load
- If for any reason the original load that was booked to be transported is significantly
increased in quantity, size or weight, an extra charge of £10-£40 may be incurred, depending
on the increase and the loading time
- The Client's Responsibilities
- We do not accept responsibility for any item that has not been adequately protected for its
time in transit
- It is the responsibility of the client to dismantle items that require dismantling
in advance of the pickup
- It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all items will fit into the dropoff
premises. Our drivers are not insured to remove doors or windows. This should be done in
advance of the dropoff
- Cancellation or Postponement
- Any cancellation or postponement after the booking is confirmed will incur a charge of 50%
of the confirmed price. Any cancellation or postponement within 24hrs of the pickup time will
incur a charge of 100% of the confirmed price
- Staff Abuse
- Verbal or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated
- If the driver is forced to leave the job at any time because of abuse from a client, verbal
or otherwise, the client will be charged in full
